1) Team name?
Latvia Unicorns

2) Owners name? (First and last initial)
Ross C

3) Where do you live and/or where are you from?
I'm from Scotland. A town called Kirkcaldy which is around 45 minutes away from Edinburgh city centre and 45 minutes away from St Andrews for all the golf fans out there.

4) Who are you in life outside of fantasy football? (job, family, hobbies, any other personal tidbits)
My defining characteristic is probably that I'm 25 years old and been with my wife for 10 years, married for 3 of them. I'm already on my second house and am a true family man without the kids (hopefully not for a few more years) if that makes sense! I work as a Manager for a national discount retailer and the only thing exciting about that is that I get paid enough to enjoy things like fantasy football ????. I'm a massive fan of the NFL and NBA and most of my life revolves around these two sports. Staying up late to watch at least one midweek game and the bumper NFL Sunday where everyone just leaves me alone! Other than that, I love to stay active and play soccer 2-3 times a week and cycle at least 1 although this is much more of a summer activity.

5) Tell us something that is unusual about yourself?
I organised and took part in a charity cycle around the coast of the UK and Ireland through my work which raised a massive £138,000 ($180k). I cycled over 300 miles over the course of the event including one 80 mile stint. This is the regards achievement of my life

6) Who is your favorite NFL team(s)?
New York Jets

7) Who is your least favorite NFL team(s)?
New England Patriots

8) What year did you start playing fantasy football?
I think it was 2010. Started with a redraft league and started dynasty the year after.

9) What do you like best about fantasy football?
Probably the interaction between league mates and Roster Wars is the pinnacle for this. There's no point in winning your league if you can't roast your pals for it.

10) What is your biggest pet peeve about fantasy football?
Injuries. You could have drafted the perfect team and your season is completely ruined by an injury to 2 or 3 of your best players. The actual answer is probably luck and injury luck is the worst kind of luck.

11) What is your favorite fantasy football memory?
I love it when I take a risk and it pays off. I remember trading Zac Stacy away during the 2014 draft for a late 2nd round pick (Devonta Freeman). Everyone thought I was crazy as Stacy was coming off a great season as the Rams lead back and Freeman was a 4th round pick with Steven Jackson ahead of him on the depth chart. Stacy had a horrible season as Tre Mason took over lead back duties and Freeman turned out to be the best RB in the league 2 years later which helped me win the league that year.

12) How many leagues do you play in each year?
8 this year

13) If you have changed the number of leagues you play in since joining Roster Wars, what is the change?
Last year it was at 12 but since Roster Wars I have trimmed down to 8 with plans to drop another 4 next year.

14) How has your life changed during the years you've been part of RW?
Been a couple of years so not much real life changes to be honest but I've definitely changed my perspective on fantasy football. Pre roster wars I was gaining leagues every year but now I'm trimming back and focusing on a few. I found that with too many leagues I was making poor decisions because I was trying to diversify rather than target the players that I actually want. I have Joe Mixon and JuJu Smith Schuster in every league now compared to before when I would have tried to pick a different player in some leagues.

15) What contributions to / RW jobs have you had over the years ?
I've been an on/off contributor to my weekly (????) article Unicorns Utopian Universe where I show you what the league would look like if every lineup was set perfectly. I've been struggling for time recently so have missed a few weeks but I plan on getting this back on track as I do enjoy writing it. I also contribute to the forum as much as I can.
