The Carolina Silverbacks started in the Minor League of Roster Wars and earned their way into the Main League in 2020. Owner Matt grew up in Ohio, moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and then off to his present location of Texas. He's happily married and has a son that he spends much of his time with doing some racing. Matt loves pretty much all sports both watching and playing. His unusual personal fact..."I'm still playing adult soccer."

His favorite NFL team is the Dallas Cowboys but back when he live in North Carolina they had Panthers season tickets so his son's favorite team is not Dallas as well. Matt does not like the Patriots or the rest of the NFC East while we're at it.

He began playing fantasy football before the year 2000 during his high school years and his favorite part is drafting. Get in line pal. His biggest peeve would be owners that quit during the season. His favorite FF memory was when his dad joined in their local Ohio league and he drafted a backup TE in the first or second round. "It was really funny. He learned a lot since then." Let's hope so. Matt played in 10+ leagues when he met up with us but he's reduced to around 5 last we checked, not so much because Roster Wars took too much time but the activity levels of his other leagues were just so weak.

Unfortunately, in September 2021, Matt resigned from the Main League. He will be missed but luckily several of our members still play with him in other places. All the best, Matt!
